It’s happened.  I’ve finally reached a point where I need to have some business cards made.  This is where your help comes in.  You see, I’m having trouble deciding what picture to place on the card so I need you to help me pick one.  Feel free to browse all my photos by clicking here.  Once you’ve chosen a photo that would make you want to hire me if you were in the market for a photographer, come back here and leave a comment.  Please include the date of the photo along with the title if there is one and a brief description.  I will then randomly choose a commenter to win a set of 5 notecards.  Winner will be announced Thursday morning!

andrea murphy - What type of shoots are you hoping to book is the question? Children, family, couples? If you give a prego mom a card with an engaged couple, she’s likely not going to call you. If you want a little of everything I would either a) skip the picture all together and let your logo do the work or b) use one your nature shots. they’re gorgeous.April 27, 2009 – 10:02 am

Brooke - If I needed to pick between several photographers I would rather see photos of people instead of inanimate objects.

You could do a collage. Do a couple photo, a prego photo (like that shot of Grace on the circle rug), and a child/baby photo. That’s the order people typically do things (couple, prego, child). Not always, but typically.April 27, 2009 – 2:29 pm

admin - Ideally, I would like to photograph seniors. I guess in my dream world I would help Andrea shoot weddings, shoot seniors on my own with a few births here and there once my kids are in school. The only thing is that I don’t have any senior style shoots that I’ve done. Maybe I should call Jamie and see if she’ll be a guinea pig for me? :) April 28, 2009 – 11:20 am

andrea murphy - Yes… get some shots first. Births and seniors are 2 very different things. If you’re not going to go with a stand alone logo (has to be an awesome log) I would do 2 different cards. Cards are cheap. Just make sure its branded similarly enough.April 28, 2009 – 5:09 pm
