I can’t believe I’m actually early on something! Finley turns two in just under two months and it’s been in the back of my mind that I would need to get some pictures soon. Since I had some alone time with my boy tonight, I decided it would be the perfect chance to get some photos. I’m ecstatic that I got some and now I just need to get Layla’s three year pictures taken 
With Finley’s food allergies, I think we’ve all hit our limit on how many times we can eat the same 4 meals over and over again. A week or so ago, we shook things up and had some chicken and veggie kabobs with corn on the cob and cucumbers. It was super yummy! I’m wondering though, if any of you have some delicious meals that are dairy, nut and egg free (although he’s allergic to wheat and soy we’ve discovered it doesn’t really bother his skin)?
So my talented friend Molly gave me a little tag. You’re suppose to open the 6th folder on your computer and then post the 6th photo in that folder. I’m a little ocd about keeping my computer cleaned up so I went to my external harddrive to get my 6th folder. Since all my pictures are in order by month starting with the oldest, I’ve got a little goodie to post from August 2006 when Layla was just 2 months old. This was before I knew anything about photography and I may have still been using film at the time.
One thing that was driving me crazy with my blog was that you could only see the first part of a blog post in your blog reader (bloglines, google, etc). I’ve updated my layout and the problem is fixed! If you resubscribe, you can see the entire post in your blog reader. Oh, the little things make me so happy!

There’s nothing like learning that you’re expecting another child to realize all the things you haven’t finished with your other children. I have half finished journal entries for each kid that I need to clean up. Three years of photos that need to be processed and printed. Albums need to be put together. I want to do this now before #3 gets here. Any spare time that I think I have now will vanish soon. I don’t want to forget what I was thinking or feeling with each of my children. I have memories that need to be preserved. Please someone give me a nudge and bug me in a few months to make sure I’ve at least made some progress on their books.
