I’ll admit it, I’m not an outdoorsy sort of person but I do love nature. It’s just so beautiful in it’s simplicity.

What can I say? She’s definitely a girly girl who loves her clothes. Mix and match is definitely her style and she’s always got to have some pink in there somewhere. And how funny is Finley wanting to get a piece of the camera action?

My first time to celebrate the 4th of July in 4 years was great! I especially enjoyed watching the kids have a blast. The children enjoyed swimming, jumping on the trampoline, fireworks and playing with as many toys as possible. This was the first time for Layla and Finley to see/hear fireworks and they weren’t bothered one bit. At one point, Layla walked over to her Aunt Jamie, gave her leg a hug and said, “don’t worry, it’s just fire.” Layla swam without clinging on to someone for dear life (there are adults close by in the water, you just can’t see them).

My son is weird. Yep. His favorite thing to do in the trampoline was to fling his body/face against the siding and smoosh his face.

This is my niece Aislee. She doesn’t like her Aunt April

This was too cute not to post

We had a gorgeous sunset!

We ended the night with some really great fireworks put on by my sister’s neighbors. Sorry but there’s no photos of those.
So I got Finley’s pictures done the other day so I took Layla out, same spot and same time, and got a quick few.

Sometimes you can love a picture even if you didn’t get the best angle.

Layla’s mini photo shoot to come soon…
