I’m sorry Andrea but I thought of you when I saw this What The Duck strip since you’re coming up on a decade of photography experience and you’re about to get another year older…

Some of the surrounding fire departments joined together today for some fire training. Part of their training involved an actual live fire and guess who got to photograph it?! These are just two that I edited quickly but there will be lots more to come.

It’s happened. I’ve finally reached a point where I need to have some business cards made. This is where your help comes in. You see, I’m having trouble deciding what picture to place on the card so I need you to help me pick one. Feel free to browse all my photos by clicking here. Once you’ve chosen a photo that would make you want to hire me if you were in the market for a photographer, come back here and leave a comment. Please include the date of the photo along with the title if there is one and a brief description. I will then randomly choose a commenter to win a set of 5 notecards. Winner will be announced Thursday morning!

Welcome to my new home! It’s still a work in progress but I hope you like it. Please stay tuned as there are many posts to come and there may just be a contest to celebrate my new “residence”. Of course, since I can’t post without a picture, here’s a little something to remind you that spring will eventually get here.

Speaking of The Hideout, there are several photographers over there doing the 365 project. The 365 project is where you take one photograph a day for an entire year. I’ve given it a shot before and failed but I’m having another stab at it. All my 365 photographs will be contributed to The Hideout 365 Project blog if you’re interested in following along.
