Meet JC. I took his senior portraits last November in the small town of Blackburn, OK where his dad grew up and also where I spent a good chunk of my adolescent years with JC’s big sister who has been my bff since we were 3. JC is growing into a wonderful man that his family is very proud of. You can read his story here which was published in The Tulsa World this past week.

This is Kiersten. She is a fun, easy going and adventurous young woman. I loved the location she chose for her senior pictures. Not only is was it beautiful but it’s a place that means something to her. I had an absolute blast getting to photograph her and I can’t wait to see her fulfill her life goals.

And a side note to all my clients…

I will be on vacation as of 6pm tonight and will be back in the office Monday morning.

I think we all come across someone eventually where it’s hard to believe that a person is coming to us for senior pictures, wedding pictures or whatever. I was flabbergasted when Cheryl told me she needed senior pictures for Mason. Seriously?! I think he had to have been 8 or 9 when Cheryl and I started working together right after I graduated high school. He didn’t remember me but I’ll always remember him as a 10 year old boy.

Interesting tidbit…Mason and my cousin Rachel were born around the same time and were actually in the NICU together.

I seriously had a blast with Kalie taking her senior portraits. I’ve known Kalie forever so it felt a little weird taking her senior portraits but it was oh so much fun!
