It was a very low key affair that took place in my parents backyard with only the closest of friends

and family.

And although Grandma has passed and can not be with us physically, she did make an appearance via pin.

Chocolate made an appearance too :)

Congratulations to my wonderful sister and brother-in-law!

And how convenient that I am able to incorporate this goal, lighting, with a personal challenge.  Since September 11th I have been shooting 1 image a day and posting them over on The Daily Project but I have decided to add another personal project to the mix, a monthly challenge.  A group of us at Clickin Moms are challenging one another with a monthly project – choose a theme for the month, shoot, and then post those images on your blog.  What a great way to stay creative, challenged, and we’re able to encourage one another along the way!  January’s theme was ‘new beginnings’ and my goal on being more creative with lighting was the perfect ‘beginning’ for me.
