In light of the fact that Miss Maggie was born 3 weeks ago today and that I’ll be taking her newborn photos turn, pending everyone is healthy, I thought I should post her birth pictures. Maggie came entirely too quickly for me to get back in the delivery room in time to photograph her being born. However, I was there within minutes and was able to capture all the excitement immediately following a delivery. Brooke, Maggie’s mommy, is my oldest and dearest friend and nothing makes me happier than to document such a special moment for a special person.
Welcome to my little spot in the world. Feel free to kick back, relax and take a peek at my life. Here you'll find out about my life as a wife, mother and photographer. You'll see how I juggle a marriage, newborn, toddler, preschooler, business, multiple food allergies and so much more. Thank you for stopping by my neck of the woods and I hope to meet you soon.

Mr. Logan stopped by last week to pay me a visit and what a dream he was. He is such a sweet, calm and content little guy. I can’t wait to get his pictures finished so I can share the rest of them with his Mommy and Daddy.

It’s been one absolutely wonderful, crazy, hectic, exciting and blessed month since our family of four turned into a family of five.

I have to brag on Miss Zoey. She’s the easiest baby ever. I never thought I’d say that after Layla but it’s true. Although we’re having trouble getting her to gain weight, she eats great (nursing or bottle, she doesn’t care). When she’s awake she’s content to look around quietly and wait for someone to realize she’s up and ready for some snuggles. This girl loves to sleep too! When she’s out, there is no waking her up. It doesn’t matter how loud Layla and Finley are or if I strip her down, change her diaper, rub a wipey all over her, etc. I can’t believe it’s been two weeks already. Time is gonna start flying by…

Zoey Paige arrived Monday morning weighing 7lbs 4oz and 20 1/4″. My c-section went perfectly and I’m feeling great. However, we did have to stay an extra two nights in the hospital. One because of my respiratory problems and one because of Zoey’s jaundice she had to be put under the lights for 24 hours. We got home yesterday and are starting to settle in. Layla and Finley are absolutely in love with her and constantly check to make sure she’s okay. Thank you so much to everyone for all of your prayers.

It’s crunch time. Time to pack the bags, cook some last minute items, scrub the house, wash some laundry and all the other 5 million things you forget that needs to be done. Problem is, I’m sick and I don’t want to do anything. Not just a little yucky sick but more along the lines of coughing up a lung and giving myself breathing treatments sick. I continue to remind myself that all is well. At this time Monday morning, I will be holding my sweet new baby girl in my arms. Please pray for a safe delivery of my baby girl.

There’s really not too much I can say about witnessing a child coming into this world. It’s an experience that has left me speechless and I’ll let all the photographs do the talking.

Congratulations to Brady & Mandy!
I’ve started to go through baby Cooper’s birth pictures and I am so in love with this one that I couldn’t wait to share. I absolutely love the huge smile on Daddy’s face.

My newest nephew, Cooper Jared, was born yesterday. What a wonderful new addition to our family.

Stay tuned for a few pictures from the home birth in the next couple days…
The kids have enjoyed looking at these “old” pictures with me. Layla loves to see “baby me” (referring to herself). Kinda glad I’m already prego or looking at all these baby photos would give me baby fever
This was one of those rare moments with Finley when he would actually take a nap. Poor guy was a horrible napper but who can blame him with all those horrible allergies he’s had to suffer through. Oh gosh, I just love it when they sleep like this though…
